Job Summary Our Professional Sales Representatives earn on average $65K+ annually. Training pay is $15-$17 per hour for 2-6 weeks (no commissions; base rate varies by location). Average annual earnings after training range from $50,000 to $70,000+ (base and commission). Competitive earnings potential includes an hourly base wage plus uncapped commissions on all written sales. Responsibilities include creating sales through exceptional customer service and knowledge of the La-Z-Boy selling process, products, and services; developing long-term customer relationships; and developing awareness of interior design through practical experience and interaction with a La-Z-Boy Designer. Responsibilities

Contribute to store sales goals by selling furniture, accessories and services offered by La-Z-Boy Promote the Design program and assist the Designer to achieve sales goals Consistently execute the La-Z-Boy selling process and provide a favorable customer experience Develop and utilize sales skills including approach, rapport building, needs discovery, portfolio presentations, objections handling, closing, follow-up, and ongoing contact with customers Maximize store promotions, marketing initiatives, and grassroots programs Maintain strong knowledge of product features and benefits, including new lines Design Program:

Schedule professional home consultations for customized room designs and installation services Support design-related functions in-store and follow established guidelines Customer Focus:

Provide high-level customer service, ensure informative and positive customer experiences, use Podium for satisfaction and follow-up Make sound business decisions to deliver customer satisfaction and promote teamwork Respond to calls and emails; assist in handling customer issues and provide solutions People:

Maintain positive relationships with store staff; train and develop peers on product knowledge and selling process Promote a culture of sales and service Operational Excellence:

Maintain store visuals, process orders, logs, and general store cleanliness; schedule deliveries; open/close store; uphold company standards and product knowledge Qualifications

Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent Experience in selling and closing sales preferred Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills Strong interpersonal, persuasion, and negotiation skills Ability to manage time and conflicting priorities; work well in a team Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field Work Details
