Role Overview The General Practice Sales Consultant (GPSC) is a key position for an experienced professional with a strong background in primary care provider (PCP) sales. This role is designed for individuals ready to drive the adoption of Biodesix diagnostic products within the primary care setting, focusing on building and maintaining relationships with PCPs in the assigned territory.
What You'll Do
Lead the adoption of Biodesix products by working directly with PCPs and their staff in an assigned territory
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive market growth and product adoption in the primary care setting
Build and maintain strong relationships with PCPs, practice managers and key decision‑makers in primary care practices
Educate PCPs on the clinical value and implementation of Biodesix diagnostic solutions
Analyze market trends and competitor activities within the primary care space to inform sales strategies
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive product improvements and address customer needs
Provide exemplary customer service and promptly resolve any issues or concerns
Accurately track and report on sales activities, pipeline and forecasts using CRM tools
What You'll Bring
Bachelor’s Degree
2+ years proven track record of success in medical or diagnostic sales to primary care physicians
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with PCPs and their staff
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex medical information to primary care audiences
Strategic thinking and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies
Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office suite (SharePoint, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to travel up to 50%

Hiring Manager Interview – Deeper discussion of experience and approach
Onsite Presentation – Demonstration of complex idea explanation and engagement with healthcare professionals

Final Interview – Wrap‑up meeting with a sales leader to discuss alignment and fit
