The Global Sales Executive will provide superior customer support to business partners and prospective clients, focusing on building strategic partnerships with existing clients and establishing new ones with businesses in need of customized logistics solutions. Description The role involves contacting customers, demonstrating products, explaining features, and soliciting orders. The executive will recommend products, answer questions, estimate prices, and provide ongoing support post-sales. Maintaining relationships, developing new opportunities, and executing sales strategies are key responsibilities. The role also includes planning sales programs, evaluating market opportunities, resolving customer complaints, and collaborating with operational teams on pricing and profitability analysis. Work Activities Discover global supply solutions for customers concerning transportation, logistics, imports, exports, or customer issues. Collaborate across departments to integrate logistics solutions with business systems. Negotiate with customers to improve supply chain efficiency and sustainability while maximizing margins. Analyze financial impacts of logistics changes and recommend optimal transportation modes. Communicate with external stakeholders, develop relationships, and maintain them over time. Qualifications Experience: 1-3 years in sales within a 3PL or Freight Forwarding organization. Education: Industry-related degree and/or certification preferred. Knowledge: Sales & Marketing principles, customer service, English language, business management. Skills include active listening, persuasion, social perceptiveness, critical thinking, negotiation, and problem-solving. Abilities involve oral and written comprehension and expression, problem sensitivity, reasoning, and visual acuity. Tools and technology include computers, software for scheduling, ERP, CRM, and logistics management.
