$17.50-$18.50 per hour . This is a seasonal full-time position with potential overtime when approved. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide safety, risk management, rescue, and medical services to the resort in coordination with the Ski Patrol Director, Assistant Directors, Hill Chiefs, and Resort Management. Perform open and closing procedures, hazard mitigation and marking, and maintenance of patrol equipment. Deliver first aid and medical care, participate in lift evacuations, and assist with incident investigations. Dispatch and guest services support; document and report data as required by patrol policies. Assist with special events and contribute to a positive guest experience and team atmosphere. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)
Experience in ski patrolling or similar environments (1 year preferred). Current BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR) certification, or equivalent; current Outdoor Emergency Care (OEC) certification. Computer skills (Google platform, web-based applications); ability to communicate clearly via verbal, written, radio, text, etc. Self-motivated and receptive to feedback and continuous learning. Physical Demands and Certifications
Physically demanding; must be capable of standing, bending, climbing, lifting, twisting, reaching, pushing, and pulling repeatedly. Must be a solid Level II+ skier or snowboarder and pass ski testing. Ability to operate rescue equipment, rescue toboggans, and rescue vehicles under applicable standards. Ability to operate vehicles, UTVs, ATVs, and snowmobiles; work in extreme weather conditions. Shift Considerations
Hours may be long, including early morning through early evening; extended night rescues may occur. Frequent weekend and holiday shifts; age must be at least 18 years old. Other Requirements and Competencies
