Job Description The Senior Training Specialist will be responsible for working in conjunction with the Director of Learning and Development and internal business groups to assess training needs, evaluate training materials, and develop plans to improve individual, organizational, or customer performance. The role will deliver class materials in an engaging and professional manner and evaluate student progress.

Responsibilities

Develop, manage, deliver, and evaluate all assigned training programs and offerings.

Ensure that programs are consistent and that appropriate accountability exists.

Design, develop, deliver, and evaluate in-person and online learning programs (traditional e-learning courses, Zoom or webinars—live or recorded—video shorts, gamified learning, and other online learning mechanisms).

Collaborate both face-to-face with other members of the Learning and Development team to ensure business objectives are met through effective learning solutions.

Work in partnership with subject matter experts to ensure training aligns with goals, policies/procedures of the organization, and the criteria of curriculum design and evaluation.

Design and implement a strategy to optimize knowledge in support of meeting and exceeding operational and internal goals and metrics.

Perform all duties required for e-learning content launch, including course upload, testing, user assignment and notification, and LMS administration.

Evaluate the effectiveness of current and future training and communication offerings and make recommendations for improvement.

Display consistent self-development and awareness of industry trends through research, meetings, and self‑learning to enhance personal and departmental learning and development. Explore cutting‑edge technologies or software to enhance course offerings or delivery mechanisms to learners.

Advocate for processes and decisions, management feedback, and drive new procedures and ideas to ensure the integrity, consistency, and quality of trainee work.

Other Responsibilities

Comply with all regulations pertaining to BSA, USA PATRIOT ACT, and OFAC. Complete annual BSA training. Report suspicions of criminal activity or any attempt to avoid BSA reporting requirements on the part of customers or employees to the AML/BSA Compliance Department. For supervisory positions, ensure BSA training requirements are completed by staff.

Lead medium to large size projects as assigned.

Handle other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements Required Skills

Proficient in training methodologies, curriculum development, and soft skills.

Proficient in using and operating all remote learning tools independently (Zoom, Teams, etc.).

Knowledge of new training methodologies (gamified learning, e‑learning).

High energy, enthusiastic, motivational training style; able to present in front of groups or on video.

Strong critical thinking skills; excellent creative and conceptual thinking abilities.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Proficient in MS Products—strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and web‑based systems.

Strong organizational, planning, project management, problem resolution, communication, presentation, facilitation, and influencing skills.

Strong attention to detail.

Strong time management and multi‑tasking skills; ability to prioritize assignments.

Required Experience

High School diploma or GED and a minimum of 5 years of experience in stand‑up training.

Bachelor’s degree in HR, Education, or a related field, experience in a bank or financial services organization preferred.

Base salary is determined by factors such as the role, relevant experience, skill set, and geographical location. Eligible positions may also be eligible to receive commission‑based compensation and/or discretionary incentive compensation, which may be awarded as cash or forfeitable equity, recognizing individual performance and contributions.

Pay Range $71,900.00 - $122,600.00 / year
