Field Technician

plays a critical role in data acquisition and site surveying. This position requires extensive travel to diverse client locations across the United States, with occasional international assignments. Field Technicians are responsible for operating specialized equipment, executing survey scopes, documenting data, and ensuring project deliverables meet company and client standards. Position Type:

Full-time, variable-hour position.

Hours will fluctuate based on project demands, seasonality, and client needs. While heavy workloads are common during peak periods, Ingenium reserves the right to reduce or pause scheduling during slower periods. No minimum hours are guaranteed. Benefits

Position Title: Field Technician Onsite Hourly Rate: $23.00 Driving/Travel Hourly Rate: $15.00 Per Diem: $55/day in most regions Responsibilities

Travel & Logistics: complete extended travel assignments (1–8 weeks), including domestic and international locations; adhere to travel policies; remain available for frequent schedule adjustments. Operate advanced equipment including 3D cameras, 360° cameras, drones, laser scanners, and proprietary capture technology. Execute client-specific Scopes of Work (SOW) with precision; ensure data and imagery meet quality standards. Conduct on-site measurements, surveys, MEP asset documentation, and revisions to project files. Maintain professional communication with Operations Coordinators, Project Managers, clients, and internal teams; provide timely status updates and escalate on-site issues. Represent the company professionally in client-facing interactions; upload, process, and organize captured data per company protocols. Perform quality assurance checks for data completeness and accuracy prior to submission; integrate deliverables into project management systems. Safely transport, operate, and maintain equipment (drones, scanners, cameras, laptops, etc.). Comply with OSHA safety requirements and site-specific hazard protocols; work in drop ceilings, elevated areas, or confined spaces as required. Report equipment damage or malfunctions promptly. Adhere to FAA drone regulations and client/site safety standards. Minimum age 21; valid U.S. driver’s license; ability to operate vehicles safely. Physical capacity to lift up to 50 lbs and work long hours on-site, including in confined or elevated spaces. Ability to climb ladders, scaffolding, and work from heights per OSHA standards. Willingness to work in drop ceilings, attics, and overhead spaces with PPE; comfortable in construction zones and outdoor environments. Flexibility for frequent and extended travel (1–8 weeks). FAA Part 107 Drone Pilot Certification – must obtain within the timeframe designated by Ingenium; training provided; certification maintenance is employee responsibility. Experience with surveying, terrestrial laser scanning, or related data capture technologies; strong technical aptitude in electronics, mechanics, or computer systems. Multilingual proficiency (Spanish or other languages) considered an asset. Additional Information
