Training Representative
for one of our top clients in
Newport News, VA . Designs and delivers programs to train all levels of personnel. Develops tests and visual aids, conducts training classes, and develops criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities. Keeps abreast of training and development research, including learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, methods, and techniques. Develops in-house programs and practices to identify developmental needs, including preparing personnel for more responsible positions and increasing effectiveness in present assignments. May evaluate and/or oversee contractors or vendors to develop and/or administer training programs. May be responsible for development of e-learning programs. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 6 years of experience; or Master's degree with 4 years of relevant professional experience. Bachelor's Degree in Business or Associate's Degree with experience in drafting and/or ship construction. Master’s Degree with 18 graduate credits in Communications, Engineering, History, Mathematics, Physics, or Psychology. Experience teaching in both face-to-face and online environments. Familiarity with instructional and course management technology as well as course design.
