Overview This position will be responsible for all areas of ticketing for The Bellwether from on-sale through settlement. This includes managing and scheduling support staff as needed. In addition, this position will actively support venue administration and maintenance in tandem with the General Manager. Tentative hours for this role would be 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM M-F during non-show days. Weekday shows & high profile events will be managed in person. Weeknight shows will be run by part time staff and the box office manager will be available to assist remotely. This person reports directly to the General Manager.

Box Office responsibilities

Build & manage all confirmed shows in Ticketmaster, Guesttix & FileMaker.

Serve as the main interface with Ticketmaster.

Communicate efficiently with the buyer, agent, and marketing teams, and provide all necessary ticketing assets needed for approval prior to onsales.

Distribute show confirmation email for all confirmed shows including proper billing, ticket text, onsale timeline, and all pertinent show details.

Compile and email the daily ticket counts at the same time every day (M-F) before noon.

Work the box office during night show box office Monday-Friday if there are events occurring.

Review the box office reports from the night shows and compile box office settlements for accounting.

Responsible for all cash that comes into and goes out of the box office. Minimal cash flow as the venue is cashless.

Price, monitor and manage Platinum inventory.

Managing box office inventories & reordering (ticket stock, wristbands, drink tickets, credit card paper, etc.)

Maintaining the box office equipment, including the computers, various printers, ticket scanner & credit card machine.

Manage all ticket requests including internal ticket buys, label and fan club ticket holds and buys, sponsor ticket banks, promotional ticket grids etc. (including knowing when to close a guestlist, when a show should be no comp, etc).

Field any and all ADA seating inquiries.

Schedule box office staff on a show by show basis

Manage hiring and training of new box office staff as needed.

Available by phone after hours for questions and emergencies.

Available to work late and help with high profile shows.

Updating physical box office calendars and maintaining a current onsales tracker.

Pollstar and Billboard reporting.

Maintain a clean and well organized workspace.

Venue Admin responsibilities Available to the General Manager to perform any administrative duties that are necessary. These duties will include, but are not limited to:

Ordering equipment, furniture and supplies for the venue.

Maintain a well-stocked inventory of office supplies.

Compiling, editing, and fulfilling all artist contracts to be executed by various agencies.

Sending deposits and settlement amounts via WIRE, ACH, or check to various artists or agencies - at the directive of GM.

Light/typical admin work (filing, building and managing spreadsheets, etc).

Assist with keeping an inventory of and ordering staff gifts and The Bellwether merchandise.

Help to plan staff parties, (including sending /creating coordinating invites & managing responses)

Answer customer service inquiries on phone & general info@ email

Receive deliveries.

Update copy on The Bellwether website as needed.

Maintain lost & found

Send out staff emails/announcements as necessary.

Maintain staff contact sheet.

Maintain account credentials/logins (for shipping/FedEx, Office Depot/Staples accounts, etc).

Being in direct communication with the GM about the club’s physical function and being present to help direct repairmen or receive deliveries if required.

Qualifications & Skills

2–3 years of box office experience (music industry preferred).

Tech Proficiency: Ticketmaster (TM1), Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Adobe Cloud (a plus).

Excellent organizational, research, and project management skills.

Knowledge of the music industry and passion for live music.

Must have the ability to work in very busy and high stress situations while maintaining grace and composure.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Exceptional communication skills and a professional, fun, friendly attitude

Must be extremely flexible to work long hours, nights, weekends and holidays

Attention to detail!

Compensation Salary: $68,500 - $75,000
