The University of Miami/UHealth department of Facilities is seeking a
Full Time Energy Technician 3
to work at the UHealth Medical Campus. The Energy Technician 3 is licensed and responsible for maintenance, repair, and response to energy and building systems issues. Key responsibilities include: Overseeing preventative maintenance programs. Responding to emergencies and disruptions. Maintaining accuracy of building management data. Analyzing and monitoring relevant software systems. Resolving user and system issues. Producing reports on scheduling and project status. Acting as liaison with software consultants, other departments, and IT. Maintaining, calibrating, testing, and troubleshooting electronic-mechanical equipment. Adhering to policies and safeguarding assets. This list is not exhaustive and may expand as needed. Core Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent Certification in relevant specialty Minimum 7 years of relevant experience Knowledge, Skills, and Attitudes: Effective communication skills Attention to detail Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize Ability to work independently or collaboratively Commitment to university values Relevant education, certifications, or experience may be considered.
