Duties and Responsibilities Primary duties include, but are not limited to:
Preparing all food items following standard recipes within specified time limits.
Assisting cooks in preparing basic dessert items.
Prepping items according to Prep Lists and par levels.
Storing and handling raw or prepared foods and supplies properly.
Measuring and assembling ingredients, cutting and portioning meat, fish, and poultry.
Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work surfaces.
Maintaining a safe and sanitary workstation.
Handling food per health guidelines.
Following food handling, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Maintaining personal hygiene and dress code.
Reporting safety issues and attending training sessions.
Knowledge and Skills
Ability to read and understand English.
ServSafe certification is a plus.
Basic measurement skills and following instructions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of food and beverage specifications.
Organizational and multi-tasking skills.
Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely.
Position Details This is an hourly position with variable hours, including early mornings and late nights, operating 7 days a week.
