Walla Walla Community College is accepting applications for a part‑time
English Language Acquisition (ELA) Instructor
to join its adjunct faculty pool for the 2025‑2026 academic year. Positions are continuous; candidates will be drawn on a rolling basis. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in TESOL, Adult Education, Secondary Education, Applied Linguistics, or related field (master’s preferred). Minimum two years of teaching experience at pre‑college or secondary level, with demonstrated proficiency in language development. Commitment to equitable access for diverse students. Experience with instructional technology, LMS, and hybrid or online modalities (preferred). Responsibilities
Teach assigned ELA courses at schedule time and location. Prepare and deliver course materials, provide timely feedback, and assign grades in accordance with college grading policy. Maintain student records and grades in the LMS. Post at least one (1) office hour weekly. Use available technology for student learning and conduct appropriate evaluations. Review and recommend program textbooks and materials. Application Materials
