The Account Manager is responsible for selling and presenting Varonis’ products and services to current and prospective enterprise accounts. The Varonis Account Manager will be aligned with a local Sales Engineer. The goal, as a team, is to build a strong business justification to the end-user while ensuring that the annual quota is met or exceeded. Responsibilities Prospect and identify key decision makers within targeted leads. Present and sell Varonis’ products and services to current and potential clients. Follow up on leads and referrals from field activity, maintaining and expanding the contact database within targeted organizations. Engage in prospecting, cold calling, booking appointments, performing demos, and creating proposals. Present to C-Level clients and resellers through effective product demonstrations. Partner with Sales Managers and Channel Managers to determine strategic sales approaches. Establish and maintain customer relationships by responding to requests and resolving issues. Support reseller communication throughout the sales process. Maintain accurate account information in the CRM system. Participate in marketing events such as seminars and trade shows as needed. Travel requirements vary by territory. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree or 5+ years of B2B sales experience/training, or equivalent education and experience. Preferred experience in the technology industry. Familiarity with Salesforce and Microsoft Outlook is preferred. Experience selling security software through channel partners. Strong communication and presentation skills. Established and prospective contacts in the territory. Willingness to learn technical aspects of Varonis products.
