Position Information General Information Position Number: EPTF50 Working Title: Adjunct/Part-time Faculty; Accounting Division: Academic Affairs Department: College of Business (Col) Work Unit: Turner School of Accountancy Work Location: Friday Building Vacancy Open To: All Candidates Position Designation: Adjunct / Part-Time Faculty Employment Type: Temporary - Part-time Hours per week: Varies Work Schedule: Varies Education Pay Rate varies. Minimum Experience/Education: Faculty teaching undergraduate courses: doctorate or master’s degree in the teaching discipline or master’s degree with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline. Faculty teaching graduate courses: earned doctorate / terminal degree in the teaching discipline or a related discipline. UNC Charlotte considers competence, effectiveness, and capacity, including related work experiences, professional licensure, honors, awards, and documented teaching excellence. Duties and Responsibilities Developing/updating course syllabus, preparing lectures, projects, or assignments. Meeting all class periods, maintaining office hours, grading student work timely.
