About The Position
The Stewarding Supervisor’s role ensures proper operational relationships among stewards, culinary staff, wait staff, storeroom, front desk, concierge, maintenance and set‑ups departments.
Main Duties
Oversee all quality standards by stewards in the kitchen during shifts.
Exemplify proper technique, finesse, and knowledge of all stewarding procedures and methods.
Efficiently manage schedule to ensure all shifts are properly staffed.
Develop and complete banquet pull sheets, equipment cleanliness and plate up.
Inventory Control: Maintain silver, China and glassware pair levels at Williamsburg Lodge and Banquet Facilities; assist with monthly inventory.
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines; obtain and maintain ServSafe® and food handler certifications.
Lead safe practices within the work environment; complete safety trainings, incident reports, hazard identification.
Coaching and developing teams; complete disciplinary actions and administrative functions.
Effective communication with co‑workers and managers to maintain efficient and safe workspace.
Assist in any necessary FOH or BOH tasks as directed.
Qualifications
Mid‑senior level experience in stewarding or kitchen management.
Full‑time employment.
Management and manufacturing background.
