Current staffing includes 3 MDs and 12 CRNAs. Responsibilities include providing anesthesia services in various clinical settings, participating in low-acuity clinics, and supporting ambulance services with a team of paramedics and EMTs. Practice Environment
Procedures offsite include urology, orthopedics, general surgery, gynecology, ophthalmology, GI/endoscopy, ENT, and interventional radiology. Opportunity Highlights
Teaching opportunities with Duke University SRNA students, military SRNA students, and students from VCOM and UNC. Work Schedule & Call
Monday to Friday, 7:00am-3:00pm. Night call ratio is 1/3 nights with 3 MDs and 1/4 nights with 4 MDs. CRNAs primarily handle first and second calls, with MD backup. Candidate Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology. MD or DO with ABA certification in Anesthesiology. Reasons to Work for VA
