Overview
POSITION TITLE: Assistant Weatherization Program Manager REPORTS TO: Senior Director of Health Impact Hourly Rate: $19.10 | FLSA: Non-Exempt GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY: The Assistant Weatherization Program Manager is the primary contact with the clients, subcontractors, and external Weatherization partners. Responsible for processing and managing all paperwork required for eligibility in the Weatherization program. Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day data input for the agency’s Weatherization services ensuring quality data entry. Maintain client records and ensure all files and forms are up to date and comply with state requirements. Plan for and coordinate training and technical assistance relating to Weatherization for NKCAC staff. Initiate and maintain communication with Weatherization clients as well as phone and email correspondents for the Weatherization contractor. Work with NKCAC’s eight Neighborhood Centers to identify, qualify and re-certify clients. Maintain communication with clients about the status of the work on their homes. Prepare monthly reports. Mail outreach materials to clients and follow through with client’s paperwork. Process incoming and outgoing email and communication as assigned. Maintain the Weatherization priority list and update as needed. Track and monitor the number and status of all applications and jobs (as per the priority list). Order office supplies as needed. Monitor the waiting list to ensure compliance with regulations. Perform outreach in the community by partnering with other programs to create and attend events. Communicate weekly with the Weatherization Assistant regarding job and application statuses. Maintain communication with the Property Valuation Administrator, FEMA and other agencies relating to property ownership and safety. Maintain communication with energy partners in the communities served. Ensure administrative support for the Weatherization Program and oversee office procedures. Assure compliance with all program and grant requirements. Perform all other duties as assigned by the Weatherization Director and Senior Director of Health Impact. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required. Must be detail-oriented with good oral and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe. Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance with regular access to a vehicle for business related travel. Ability to work with people of diverse and varying socio-economic backgrounds. Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and/or carry up to 10 lbs. up to 25% of the time. Ability to sit at, read, and enter data on computer for prolonged periods of time up to 75% of the time.
