Schedule: Full Time
POSITION SUMMARY Oversees and directs the day-to-day operation of the Environmental Services Department ensuring a clean, orderly and safe environment. Supports the Coordinating Manager in maintaining high quality housekeeping standards, informs on condition of all assigned areas, trains, supervises and motivates staff to complete all schedules. Participates in department performance improvement activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensures quality results by coordinating schedules for cleaning of patient rooms, offices, clinical and public areas using the 7 Step cleaning process.
Coordinates and schedules routine floor and carpet cleaning.
Conducts daily walk‑through inspections to ensure delivery of housekeeping services.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Housekeeping/Environmental Services experience preferred (3‑5 years).
Management or supervisory experience required (1 year or more).
WORKING CONDITIONS Comfortable routine working conditions with possibility of irregular schedule including weekends. Exposure to certain levels of stress. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds. Exposed to hazard of burns and cuts due to working with hot equipment. Constant standing or walking with regular periods of concentration.
