Diablo Valley Post Acute is seeking a
full-time Environmental Services Manager . This position offers a salary range of
$22-$25 per hour , depending on experience.
Essential Duties
Supervise housekeeping staff and coordinate staffing schedules to ensure thorough cleaning of offices, public areas, residences, and community grounds.
Conduct regular inspections of all resident and public areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
Plan and schedule cleaning programs, including annual cleaning, move-in preparations, and carpet cleaning.
Monitor inventory levels, order all equipment and supplies needed for the department, and ensure safe handling and storage of materials.
Assist in scheduling and conducting training sessions and departmental meetings for housekeeping personnel.
Ensure staff are trained in the safe handling of cleaning chemicals according to department guidelines, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal safety standards, including MSDS, OSHA, and EPA regulations.
Assist housekeeping staff with cleaning duties as needed, including floors, restrooms, kitchens, resident apartments, and other areas.
May assist with monitoring the budget for the housekeeping department.
Prepare resident charges or billing for housekeeping services when applicable.
Strive to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents and the preservation of equipment.
