Responsibilities

Develop meaningful relationships with clients to encourage trust and loyalty

Prospect for new clients through a high volume of client touchpoints to effectively grow your book of business

Follow up on cold and warm leads to further the sales process via multiple methods including cold calling, email messaging, social media initiatives, and other sales techniques

Research current and potential clients to understand their business, and educate them on the value of working with Heartland

Understand and demonstrate the product or service to the client

Set and meet sales goals and objectives set by leadership

Improve sales skills to increase sales success rates

Collaborate with peers and industry partners to bring the best technology solutions to your clients

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in sales or industries such as technology, retail, hospitality, fitness, or customer service.

Experience in client interaction, community involvement, student organizations, internships, or sports.

Strong interpersonal skills, highly organized with strong time management skills, ambitious, outgoing, persuasive, influential, and tech savvy.

Excellent presentation and public speaking skills; ability to demonstrate products to a technically adept audience.

Effective research abilities to understand potential clients and tailor product demonstrations to their needs.
