Outside Sales Representative - Furniture Materials for Richelieu. Richelieu is a leading North American distributor, importer, and manufacturer of specialty hardware and complementary products. We are expanding our team and seeking an Outside Sales Representative for the Furniture division (upholstery and case goods). The sales territory is in Southern Virginia and candidates must live in the territory. Key Responsibilities

Schedule and conduct virtual and face-to-face meetings with new and existing customers, learning about their business and how Richelieu product solutions can enhance their results. Grow your territory through new customer acquisition and development of existing relationships. Identify and analyze past buying patterns of current accounts and develop strategies to become a stronger, more inclusive supplier. Provide a superior customer service experience, positioning Richelieu as the preferred one-stop shop. Stay up to date with Richelieu’s product offerings, market conditions, and competitive analysis. Maintain responsibility for system information and reporting in the CRM application. What We Are Looking For

3+ years of sales experience is ideal; a background in parts and manufacturing of furniture, upholstery, and/or case goods is a strong plus. Passionate, proactive, coachable, and with a strong work ethic. Ability to manage your own schedule and deliver activities that produce results. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical, planning, organizing, and monitoring skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; comfortable using Excel, Word, and Outlook for daily responsibilities.
