The Opportunity
Join 9fin's ambitious expansion into Latin America as we bring our debt capital markets technology to one of the world’s fastest-growing financial regions. The LatAm Sales Team will establish 9fin's presence across Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Argentina, and Peru, building relationships with leading investment banks, asset managers, and institutional investors.
Territory Coverage : Based on language capabilities, the successful candidate will cover Spanish-speaking markets, Portuguese-speaking markets, or ideally both.

What You'll Work On
Every day is different, but here’s what you’ll focus on:
Market Development & Client Acquisition
Identifying and targeting key financial institutions across Latin American markets including investment banks, asset managers, hedge funds, pension funds, and law firms
Building a reliable and repeatable sales pipeline across Spanish and Portuguese-speaking markets
Developing deep understanding of local regulatory environments, market structures, and client needs across LatAm
Relationship Building & Sales Execution
Conducting client demos and presentations in Spanish and/or Portuguese as required
Running successful and well-managed trial processes adapted for LatAm market dynamics
Building a clear understanding of 9fin's value proposition and communicating this effectively to regional clients
Negotiating and closing new business while optimizing for local market pricing and contract structures
Regional Market Intelligence
Developing expertise in Latin American debt capital markets, including local bond markets, credit structures, and regulatory frameworks
Understanding competitive landscape and positioning 9fin against regional and global competitors
Collaborating with product teams to ensure 9fin's LatAm data coverage and functionality meets local client needs
Operations & Forecasting
Maintaining clear record-keeping and forecasting via Salesforce
Adapting global sales processes for local market requirements and time zones
Sharing market insights with senior management to inform LatAm expansion strategy
About You
This role will be a great fit if you have:
Essential Requirements
Native fluency in both Spanish and Portuguese (strongly preferred) or native fluency in Spanish OR Portuguese with excellent business communication skills
Professional working proficiency in English for internal collaboration and global client interactions
3-5+ years of relevant Account Executive experience in Capital Markets, B2B SaaS Sales, or Business Development
Strong knowledge of Latin American financial markets including understanding of local debt capital markets, regulatory environments, and institutional investor landscape
Preferred Experience
Established network within LatAm financial community including buyside institutions, investment banks, and advisory firms
Track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets in previous roles
Experience selling financial technology or data solutions to institutional clients
Understanding of debt capital markets, credit analysis, or fixed income products
Key Competencies
Ability to plan and prioritize important tasks while working with accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both native language and English
Self-motivated team player who can also work effectively independently
Cultural sensitivity and understanding of business practices across different LatAm countries
