As a Customer Service Associate, you will welcome customers to Lowe's and help them find the right products and services for their home improvement needs. You will interact with customers, help them locate products, load merchandise when needed, and ensure customer needs are met. Daily tasks may vary by department. Departments include Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Inside Garden, Hardware, Tools, Millwork, Building Materials, Plumbing, Electrical, Paint, Home Décor, Tool Rental, or Pro Services. Key Responsibilities
Welcome customers, answer questions, and provide friendly, professional service Help customers locate and handle merchandise Restock merchandise by monitoring shelves and replenishing supplies Process orders and deliveries accurately to ensure timely receipt of merchandise Cross-train in other store areas to enhance overall customer service Prepare department merchandise according to customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds) Assist customers through shopping or checkout Complete other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications
6 months experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information) 6 months experience using common retail technology (e.g., smartphones, tablets) Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic Ability to stand, sit, and perform duties as required Minimum lift of 25 lbs unassisted or more with accommodation Preferred Qualifications
6 months of retail or customer service experience Bi-lingual skills Certification in a trade related to the department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn & garden, lumber/building materials) Additional Information
