With a team of approximately 55 employees, we’re large enough to handle complex projects but small enough that every person makes a meaningful difference.

Position Overview We are seeking a Sales Counter Manager to lead our front-line counter team. This group is the face of the company, supporting walk-in customers, answering calls, managing orders, and building lasting customer relationships. The Sales Counter Manager will be a confident leader with strong Division 8 knowledge who can mentor and grow the team, improve processes, and ensure accuracy and consistency in all customer interactions.

This position is on-site in Millcreek, Utah, Monday through Friday. It’s an excellent fit for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and wants to make a direct impact on both employees and customers.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop the sales counter team, setting clear expectations and mentoring each team member.

Provide training and coaching in Division 8 product knowledge (doors, frames, hardware) to build confidence and expertise across the team.

Ensure accuracy in quotes and orders, establish best practices and procedures to minimize errors and rework.

Support a positive customer experience by fostering strong relationships and quick, reliable responses.

Collaborate across the board with other managers, shop, and warehouse operations to ensure smooth workflow and handoffs.

Provide technical expertise on Division 8 products, including fire ratings, ADA and life-safety requirements, hardware and frame compatibility, and special conditions that require precise product knowledge.

Promote accountability and teamwork, recognizing top performance and addressing gaps constructively.

Qualifications

Strong Division 8 product knowledge (commercial doors, frames, and hardware), 5+ years required.

Leadership and mentoring experience, with the ability to grow a team and raise standards.

Excellent communication and customer service skills with a positive, professional approach.

Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to enforce process consistency.

Prior inside sales or account management experience preferred.

Comsense/Enterprise experience a plus.

Experience with Division 10 specialties (toilet partitions, accessories, lockers, etc.) is a plus but not required.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and strong computer skills, ability to confidently navigate business software.
