Job Description
The Sales Manager oversees the daily operations of the dealership’s sales department, leading and motivating the sales team to meet or exceed goals. Responsibilities include managing staff performance, developing sales strategies, training team members, assisting with customer interactions, and ensuring an exceptional buying experience.
Recruit, train, and mentor sales staff Set performance goals and hold team accountable Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales metrics Develop and implement strategies to meet dealership sales targets Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the sales process Handle customer concerns or escalations professionally Work with management team to ensure proper vehicle mix and stocking levels Monitor aging inventory and implement strategies to reduce it Partner with F&I Managers to ensure that each deal is aligned with business standards and meets regulatory requirements Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management Analyze trends and adjust strategies as needed Assist in planning and executing sales events and campaigns Perform regular internal audits to assess the effectiveness of your compliance program and identify any gaps or areas of non-compliance. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent College degree in a related field 3-5 years Sales Management experience in a powersports / automotive dealership environment required Proven success record exceeding industry standards related to sales and profitability Strong computer skills with working knowledge of Lightspeed highly preferred Excellent work history Valid Florida driver's license and clean driving record REQUIRED
