Overview
Sales Manager to join a leading FAA Repair Station and Parts Manufacturer Approval (PMA) company specializing in aviation repair, maintenance, and parts manufacturing services. The role focuses on developing and executing sales strategies to expand the customer base, strengthen relationships with airlines and aviation partners, and ensure outstanding customer service. The candidate should have a proven sales track record, strong airline industry contacts, and a deep understanding of FAA regulations and PMA processes. Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. Leverage existing airline contacts to secure new business opportunities and maintain strong client relationships. Identify and pursue new market opportunities within the aviation industry. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met, including repair services, PMA parts delivery, and post-sale support. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote services and build networks. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adapt sales and service approaches. Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management. Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and industry standards in all sales and customer service activities. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Aviation Management, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the aviation industry, with a focus on FAA repair stations or PMA companies. Established network of airline contacts and a proven ability to secure contracts with major carriers. Strong understanding of FAA regulations, PMA processes, and aviation industry standards. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events. Preferred Qualifications
Experience working directly with airline maintenance and procurement teams. Knowledge of aircraft component repair and overhaul processes.
