Sales Account Manager (Aircraft Parts)
– Team JAS, Jacksonville, FL.
About Team JAS Team JAS, founded in 1986, specializes in Twin Otter aircraft support, repair, maintenance, overhaul, and FAA‑PMA approved manufacturing. With a 33000‑sq‑ft facility equipped with FAA and EASA repair stations, the company serves a global customer base of airlines, OEMs, and MROs.
About the Position The Aircraft Parts Sales Account Manager is responsible for managing, servicing, and driving revenue growth for assigned customer(s). Key activities include cold calling, quoting, order processing, product pricing, and becoming an in‑depth expert on all Team JAS products and services.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide industry‑leading service and support to customers.
Communicate via email, phone, ILS, Aeroxchange, and Parts Base to respond to pricing, availability, and lead‑time requests.
Continuously develop and grow customer relationships at all levels.
Maintain data integrity and accuracy in the Team JAS ERP system (Quantum Control).
Use portal data to identify and document customer needs and communicate open part orders.
Gather fleet information and identify changes affecting customers.
Broker parts and communicate new product and service opportunities.
Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients.
Identify and contact sales prospects and manage assigned accounts.
Follow up on existing customers to maintain satisfaction.
Create and manage sales orders until fulfillment.
Ensure accurate, timely delivery to customer expectations.
Assist accounting with invoice collection.
Who You Are You are an excellent communicator, highly organized, and experienced in the aviation industry. You enjoy problem‑solving, exceeding customer expectations, and mastering new products.
Technical Knowledge & Abilities
Familiarity with aircraft components, systems, and terminology.
Proven ability to sell spare parts and MRO services.
Experience with CRM/ERP systems such as Quantum Control.
Detail‑oriented accuracy in managing quotes and contracts.
Sales Experience
3–5 years of proven success in sales, ideally in aviation.
Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Strategic thinking to align product offerings to customer needs.
Problem‑Solving & Collaboration
Team‑oriented mindset working with purchasing, repair, and logistics.
Analytical skills to devise cost‑effective solutions.
Behavioral Traits
Integrity, reliability, and high standards.
Self‑motivation and drive to exceed sales targets.
