Experience: Minimum of 3 years in retail management, overseeing teams of 15+. Leadership: Proven success in developing and implementing company processes, along with a strategic approach to managing the business as if it were your own. Sales Focused: Ability to drive growth, open new B2B opportunities, add on sales and promotions. Responsibilities

Performs leadership, supervisory and administrative duties. Manages and drives sales and margin through the team. Communicates with the team to get all members on the same page regarding procedures and execution in the store. Trains team to improve their efficiency with the computer system, product training, handling customers, and department knowledge and ensures all staff are completely trained and understand store operations. Enthusiastic self-starter leader that builds a sales and customer service culture. Ability to follow organizational procedures and comfortable coaching the team to continually improve. Is innovative and creative and always thinking about ways to increase sales and build a high performance culture. Works hand in hand with other support team members to continually surprise our customers with what we will do for them. Is well organized and a good planner, delegator and motivator. Responsible for managing and executing overall store standards, policies and procedures. Ensures a clean, safe and culture driven environment for team and customers. Holds team accountable for excellence in service standards. Communicates clear expectations to the team and works with all employees to ensure the entire team is aware of upcoming promotions, events, and customer needs. Drive sales and profitability through customer satisfaction and reporting systems. Model excellent customer service by helping customers when necessary. Oversee daily opening and closing of the store. Supervisory tasks include interviewing, hiring, training, appraising performance, disciplining employees, and planning weekly schedules. Foster a team environment where employees are motivated to provide outstanding customer service and contribute to the overall success of the business. Immediately respond to customer complaints and resolve them as best as possible. Maintain inventory at appropriate levels and direct cycle counts. Coordinates sales promotions, marketing, and special events. Directs merchandising in the store and ensures it is clean and organized, also responsible for maintaining signage. Ensures the sales floor stays clean and orderly. Participates in the weekly ordering of merchandise and oversees deliveries and restocking. Be a role model for safety, creating a safe work environment and ensuring compliance with all store policies and safety standards. Protect inventory and store property against internal and external loss. Respond with appropriate action, according to store policy. Qualifications

Retail Management experience is a must and Hardware Retail Management experience is a major plus. Outstanding customer service skills and a professional attitude. Shows excellent leadership ability – can take charge, be proactive, motivating the team. Understands a great retail environment needs a leader that can see the big picture yet be hands on. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong math skills. Committed to continually learning and pursuing training and development opportunities. Is technically proficient – easily adapting to various systems. Not afraid to learn. Project management skills, including the ability to coordinate special projects and finish on time and within budget. Ability to manage a team and understand the fundamentals of leadership– comfortable in coaching, providing feedback and development. Strong knowledge of the products contained in the store. Motivated, organized, self-starter who is able to think independently and solve problems. Understanding of store operations, including finances, inventory control, and pricing strategy. Knowledge of effective sales methods and techniques. Understand how to efficiently operate the store’s point-of-sale system and inventory system. Knowledge of MS Word and PowerPoint. High school degree. College degree a plus.
