Overview
Responsibilities
Under limited supervision, provides support to Outside Sales Reps in meetings with customers and may accompany at customer site visits. Prospect for new customers and provide high quality service to current customers. Actively make phone calls and solicit sales orders. Provide customer support to walk-in retail or contractor customers and respond to telephone and e-mail inquiries; typically support customers with larger or more complex requirements. Utilize specialized knowledge to assist customers with product selection, pricing, availability, and refunds/exchanges. Determine customer requirements and expectations to recommend specific products and services; may suggest alternatives based on cost, availability, or specifications. Generate sales quotations requiring knowledge of company products, procedures and practices. Actively engage in selling company products and services. Provide material take offs, estimates and pricing of large packages (e.g., decks, garages, millwork, kitchen, bath, doors). Enter orders into computer system. Provide training and assistance to less experienced Inside Sales Representatives. Qualifications
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and three (3) years sales experience, preferably industry-related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. About BFS
