Responsibilities include driving Google Workspace licensing and related services in the Public Sector, qualifying and developing opportunities, managing the full sales cycle from discovery to contract, building relationships with decision-makers, and coordinating with Google’s Public Sector sales and partner teams to drive co-selling opportunities. You will respond to RFPs/RFIs and maintain accurate CRM records. Stay current on product updates, competitive solutions, and industry trends, and represent Resultant at events to promote our brand and generate leads. Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets for Google Workspace licensing and professional services in the Public Sector. Identify, qualify, and develop a strong pipeline of opportunities through prospecting, networking, and marketing initiatives. Manage the full sales cycle from discovery to contract negotiation. Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in government and educational institutions. Collaborate with Google’s Public Sector sales and partner teams to drive co-selling opportunities. Articulate the value proposition of Google Workspace and related services (e.g., migration, change management, managed services). Respond to RFPs and RFIs and navigate public sector procurement processes. Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline in CRM. Stay informed on product updates, competitive solutions, and industry trends. Represent Resultant at industry events to promote our brand and generate leads. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years of B2B technology sales with a track record of exceeding quotas. Experience selling Google Workspace or similar SaaS/collaboration solutions. Proven experience selling into the Public Sector (State/Local Government, K-12, Higher Education). Expertise in pipeline generation, complex sales cycles, and closing new logos. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills; ability to engage with all levels from technical staff to executives. Ability to travel 25-35% of time for client meetings, conferences, and events. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Preferred: Experience with Google Cloud Premier Partner or similar channel/reseller environment. Pre-existing relationships with Google’s Public Sector teams. Understanding of public sector procurement cycles, contracts, and compliance (e.g., FedRAMP, CJIS). Experience selling professional/services alongside Google Workspace licensing. Google Workspace Sales Credential or related Google Cloud certifications. CRM proficiency (HubSpot preferred). About Resultant and Benefits
