Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct pricing and quoting to meet profit objectives for the assigned territory. Meet or exceed rental sales and revenue objectives in the assigned region. Execute sales strategies and build customer relationships. Create solutions to close clients’ irrigation and liquid handling challenges (pumps, tanks, filtration and spill containment). Share innovative products, creating market awareness, closing deals and increasing new/repeat customer business. Expand top ten customer relationships and revenues by regular face-to-face, quality sales calls. Promote, seek out, and consummate new and repeat business for sales and rentals. Actively participate in business development opportunities including Brown Bags, Tow & Shows, and Trade Associations. Attend industry events to stay updated on knowledge. Travel throughout the assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers while managing expenses. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of all products, pricing and terms, sales and credit policies, and promotional aids. Detail quotes to satisfy the customer and limit the company’s exposure and risk. Quote prices and prepare written orders for sales, rentals, and leases with delivery timing estimates. Promote Full-Service Solutions including design, installation, service and operation. Coordinate and communicate with branch personnel regarding product availability, delivery, and job specifics. Prepare written reports and records required by management on a timely basis. Manage customer database using computer software. Promote cooperation and good communication with all Branch and Corporate personnel. Be an active participant in the company’s Safety Culture.
