Your responsibilities Outside Sales Representative for the Copper and Brass Sales force covering the Portland, OR to Seattle, WA territory. Primary duties include increasing profitable sales by servicing and developing customers, especially major and target accounts, and addressing customer problems and requests. Educate potential customers on company functions and capabilities; monitor industry trends and report findings to management. This role works directly on or around motor vehicle equipment.
Key responsibilities
Determine key buying influences at existing and potential customers and establish working relationships.
Develop a market plan for the territory with quantifiable goals and action plans.
Assist inside sales on special accounts and/or projects.
Provide assistance to credit managers as required.
Schedule and perform sales calls and/or visits.
Estimate customer product usage and participation by business units.
Conduct training sessions on products and services with customers and employees.
Follow transaction pricing and report significant deviations to management.
Communicate customer product and quality requirements to inside sales and operations.
Suggest additions/deletions to product catalog and services.
Initiate and monitor E-item inventory requirements.
Provide recommendations on current/potential advertising.
Maintain and update customer database; review quotes and daily sales.
Engage in ongoing product knowledge development and process improvement.
