Formosa Plastics Corporation, U.S.A. invites qualified candidates to apply for the
Regional Sales Manager
position.
Responsibilities
Conduct sales activities with existing customers and prospect accounts to maintain relationships and increase sales.
Actively develop prospects and targets, prioritize opportunities and develop strategic supply proposals to gain incremental business.
Become proficient with the Grocery/Retail product bundle through training and self‑learning.
Collect market intelligence and customer decision criteria to recommend effective sales proposals.
Skillfully present compelling supply package presentations resulting in awarded business.
Develop annual sales budget & strategy and execute the plan accordingly.
Review sales progress regularly against goals and re‑align efforts to ensure targets are being successfully achieved.
Interact and coordinate with other functional departments in order to provide customer satisfaction.
Coordinate with marketing personnel to develop sales promotion plans for target products.
Selectively attend sales trade and/or vendor shows to promote products and develop business opportunities.
Potentially coordinate the hiring and training of Brokers.
Handle special projects assigned by the business unit.
Qualifications
Five or more years of sales and business development experience with a proven track record of positive customer relationships and sales growth.
Other experience in business management and marketing is a plus.
Preferred prior experience within the plastics and/or paper industry, including bags, films, sheeting & retail supplies, etc.
College or university degree in business or related fields.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to travel/drive with a valid driver's license.

Strong work ethic.
Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non‑standard work hours as necessary.

Work Environmental Conditions This position involves up to 50% travel, with a willingness to travel throughout the United States to attend meetings with customers/prospects and sales functions such as trade shows, etc.
