Sales Manager
to lead our St. Louis sales team for a growing material handling company. Material Handling & Industrial Solutions (Forklifts + Automation) Overview
This branch supports customers with forklifts, racking, dock & door solutions, and cutting-edge warehouse automation. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving growth, coaching a team of sellers, and serving as the
face of our St. Louis operation . Key Responsibilities
Lead, motivate, and develop a sales team to achieve revenue and profitability targets. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, channel partners, and OEMs. Serve as the primary market leader for the St. Louis branch, representing our brand across the region. Manage pipeline activity, forecasting, and territory growth strategies. Work closely with internal operations, service, and leadership teams to deliver full-solution offerings. Support major account pursuits, complex deal structures, and long-term customer partnerships. Travel regionally to customer sites, branch locations, and industry events (moderate travel required). Ideal Candidate Profile
Industry Experience : Background in forklifts, material handling equipment, or adjacent industrial sectors (racking, automation, conveyor, dock & door, warehousing solutions). Leadership : Prior experience managing or mentoring a sales team is strongly preferred. Proven success in B2B sales and business development. Strong relationship builder and communicator – able to represent the branch externally and lead internally. Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability. Target Range:
