High School Diploma, Associate's Degree, or working toward Bachelor's degree (preferred); experience and skill in a specific relevant field of study that applies to the classroom. Demonstrate an understanding of the needs of diverse constituencies within the school community and the skills and attitude to deliver an exemplary experience equitably to all students. Strong understanding of child development and best practices. Ability to maintain order and a positive classroom environment using age-appropriate classroom management techniques in a classroom.
