Under the supervision of the Dining Room Manager, a Server interacts with residents and employees of Front Porch residential facilities, and ensures they have a great experience when dining. Servers are responsible for positive guest interactions while serving in a friendly and efficient manner. Servers are expected to be attentive to guests\' needs and make them feel welcome, comfortable, important and relaxed. Detailed Responsibilities

Food Service Server Provides quality customer service efficiently to residents, families, co-workers and vendors to ensure satisfaction. Prepares the tables, lays out napkins and utensils, refills condiments, and performs other preparation tasks. Stays updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu deviations, and notifies kitchen staff if items are running out. Directs guests to their tables, presents menus, suggests dishes, assists in drink selection, and communicates specific guest needs to the cooks. Maintains proper dining experience by delivering items, fulfilling guest needs, offering desserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils, and refilling glasses. Performs basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor. Fills in for absent staff as needed. Assists with special events as needed. Greets guests warmly and professionally. Follows highest standards of cleanliness and complies with all federal, state and corporate policies, health codes and guidelines in preparation and handling of foodstuffs. Performs duties in a safe and efficient manner; wears safety equipment as required; reports safety hazards and/or accidents to supervisor. Follows department safety standards and participates in campus-wide safety programs. Attends mandatory in-service meetings and complies with department and facilities policies and procedures. Understands facility’s fire and disaster plans and follows procedures during drills and emergencies. Bringer of PIE. Credentials
