Assistant Residence Manager Location: Clermont IRA Responsibilities

Assist in the planning, coordination, and implementation of the residence program. Oversee intellectually and developmentally disabled adults, partnering with individuals to facilitate daily care, enhance personal development, foster self-esteem, and meet individualized goals for success. Work with dedicated professionals to support program management and leadership development, with opportunities to advance to a house manager position. Qualifications

Have a HS diploma/GED with one year of related experience. Bachelor’s degree or Associate degree with one year of related experience preferred. Have a valid NY driver’s license. Be flexible, patient, energetic, creative, and have a sense of humor. Have a strong passion for working with and helping children and adults with special needs. Physical Requirements

Pre-employment physical required. Significant and frequent walking, sitting, stooping, bending, and standing. Frequent outdoor activities with exposure to sunlight and heat. Ability to communicate effectively by phone or in person. Vision adequate to read and use a computer; good manual dexterity. Core Curriculum (recommended training)
