SilverSneakers (Certified) Fitness Instructor
We are seeking a highly motivated Silver Sneakers Fitness Instructor passionate about helping active older adults improve their lives through health and fitness. Our Silver Sneakers Fitness Instructors design, implement, and lead safe, effective, and enjoyable group fitness classes for recreation center participants of various fitness levels. Responsibilities
• Design and lead group fitness classes for older adults. • Ensure class safety and effective instruction. • Maintain program quality and participant engagement. Ideal Candidate
Must possess a current Group Fitness Certification and Silver Sneakers Certification. Prior experience instructing specific specialty and working with older adults. First Aid certification is preferred. Strong understanding of exercise science, nutrition, and wellness. Excellent communication skills and ability to build working relationships. Minimum Qualifications
At least eighteen (18) years of age. High school graduation or GED. Current Group Fitness Certification maintained through continuing education credits. Current CPR/AED certification required. Employee Benefits & Perks
