Overview We’re hiring immediately for a full-time Verizon Retail Sales Associate. This role provides opportunities to grow your career with a team focused on sales success within a Verizon retail store. Bilingual in English and Spanish is required in eligible locations.
What you’ll be doing
Generate retail sales by using your passion for cutting-edge technology and exceptional customer service to expand the Verizon network.
Learn and uncover customers’ needs by creating connections and asking the right questions.
Present product insights and recommendations to provide customers with a complete top-down sales solution.
Close sales by using effective communication to fulfill customer needs with simple and intuitive tech solutions.
Continuously develop yourself through ongoing training and up-skill in merchandising and inventory operations.
Potential to grow your customer base by placing outbound calls and sending text messages to current Verizon customers interested in our products and services.
Engage with the community outside of the store to expand your loyal customer base at Verizon-sponsored events.
Compensation and benefits are described below. Roles offer base pay plus commission potential, with total compensation varying by geography, hours worked, and performance.
Compensation and Benefits
Base pay range: $16.00 to $21.00 per hour, plus potential commissions up to $16,000 per year (individual-based, if sales goals are met); top performers may earn $65,000+ to $73,500+ annually, depending on location and performance.
Benefits starting day one, including health and well-being benefits and investment in education and career.
Bilingual speakers in eligible locations may receive an extra $3,000 annually on top of base pay and commissions after passing a language assessment.

What we’re looking for
High school diploma or GED.
One or more years of relevant experience (demonstrated through work or military experience).
Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; schedule provided four weeks in advance.
Openness to pick up additional shifts and earn more income, especially during peak seasons.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Experience in a commission-based environment.
Demonstrated sales experience and customer-focused problem solving.
Customer service experience.
