Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required. This is a full-time Verizon Retail Sales Associate role focused on sales, customer service, and community engagement in a retail store. What you’ll be doing
Generate retail sales by using your passion for technology and exceptional customer service to expand the Verizon network. Learn and uncover customers\' needs by creating connections and asking the right questions. Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with a complete top-down sales solution. Close sales by using clear communication to fulfill customer needs with simple and intuitive tech solutions. Continuously develop yourself through ongoing training and up-skill in operational functions across merchandising and inventory. Help grow your customer base by placing outbound calls and sending text messages to current Verizon customers who are interested in our products and services. Engage with the community outside of the store at off-site Verizon sponsored events to expand your loyal customer base. Compensation and benefits
We’re hiring immediately. Base pay ranges from $16.00 to $21.00 per hour, with potential to earn up to $16,000 per year in individual-based commissions if sales goals are met. Top performers may earn substantial additional commissions, potentially reaching $65,000 to $73,500+ annually. Compensation varies by geography, hours, and performance. Benefits start on day one and include health and well-being coverage, education and career investments, and other rewards. Bilingual speakers in eligible locations may receive an extra $3,000 annually on top of base pay and commission after passing a language assessment Medical, dental, and vision coverage Verizon 401(k) plan with matching contributions up to 6% $2,500 stock grant per year (Stock Together) Sales recognition programs with travel, gifts, and other incentives Five weeks of paid time off (vacation, holidays, personal days) Up to 8 weeks of paid parental leave for eligible new parents Up to $8,000 per year in tuition assistance Discounts on Verizon products and services, and additional employee discounts What we’re looking for
You’ll need to have: High school diploma or GED One or more years of relevant experience (including military experience) Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (schedule provided four weeks in advance) openness to pick up additional shifts and earn more income, especially during peak periods Even better if you have: Experience in a commission-based environment Demonstrated sales experience and customer service experience After you apply
