Overview
At Voortman Steel, we are looking for a driven sales professional with a passion for cutting-edge technology. Join our team as a sales specialist, where you’ll take full ownership of the commercial process of our Extended Reality (XR) solutions. You will independently define your sales strategy and identify promising regions or market segments. You actively generate leads through phone, email, and tools like Apollo, and you’re not afraid to make the first move with new prospects. You organize and deliver compelling demos—either online or on-site—showcasing the power of our XR software. Beyond sales, you build relationships with clients, dive deep into their needs, identify broader investment opportunities, and promote complementary solutions. You play a key role in market development by spotting trends and translating them into commercial opportunities. You contribute to marketing campaigns and help shape our product positioning and customer propositions. You keep everything well-documented in our CRM system—tracking client interactions, proposals, and your own sales targets.
Responsibilities
Actively generate leads via phone, email, and tools like Apollo;
Initiate first contact with new prospects and schedule product demos;
Send tailored proposals, follow up and close deals;
Contribute to marketing campaigns focused on lead generation and brand awareness.
What You Bring
Proven experience in sales;
Affinity with XR/VR/AR technologies is a strong plus;
Excellent communication and presentation skills;
Self-starter with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset;

Job requirements
Proven ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven mindset.
Ability to analyze customer needs and recommend suitable solutions.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally 10% of the time.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) for at least 2–3 years.
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive attitude while providing excellent customer service.
High school diploma or GED required.
