Professional Drainage Engineer

or

EIT

who is ready to grow into a leadership role. Collaborate with Surveyors and Land Use Planners to deliver high quality products and outcomes to clients. The pay range for this position is $45/hour to $65/hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

Communicate efficiently and effectively with clients and coworkers to assess needs, discover solutions, and provide updates Develop and present project proposals, cost estimates, and projects schedules to clients and team members Ensure project compliance with agency standards for stormwater infrastructure, handling and management Cooperate with team members to produce comprehensive site plans permit applications for submission and review Create, organize, and maintain project schedules, define critical paths, and track milestones Manage their time at work effectively to prioritize, organize, and complete tasks independently Use survey data and other resources to perform topographical analyses and modeling calculations in the development of engineering plans

Requirements

A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering Washington State Engineer in Training (EIT) license 4 years of work experience in drainage, stormwater, or sufficiently related engineering Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Adobe, ArcGIS, Grading Design, 3D Modeling, and Plan Interpretation Experience with Western Washington Hydrology Model (WWHM), Current Edition Knowledge of regulatory standards, best practices, and technical systems Ability to independently fulfill tasks, adapt to project needs, and meet deadlines with reliable efficiency Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Teams Strong communication skills while coordinating with other team members

Preferred Qualifications

Washington State Professional Engineer (PE) License
