Our client, a well-established civil engineering firm, is seeking a motivated

Graduate Engineer (EIT)

to join their

Hydrology & Hydraulics (H&H) team

in Houston. This role offers hands-on experience, structured mentorship, and the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects in drainage, land development, and transportation.

Position Overview This opportunity is ideal for an early-career civil engineer who wants exposure to both design and modeling while working directly with senior engineers and project managers. Youll be joining a five-person H&H group within a mid-sized, stable firm that prioritizes professional development and long-term growth.

in-office only position

with flexible work hours available.

Key Responsibilities Perform

H&H modeling and drainage design

for civil infrastructure projects. Support

drafting and production work

in AutoCAD/Civil 3D. Assist senior project managers and engineers on multidisciplinary projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, with opportunities to support land development and transportation work. Contribute to the preparation of reports, design documents, and project deliverables.

Qualifications 03 years

of relevant civil engineering experience. Texas Engineer-in-Training (EIT) license required. Familiarity with

AutoCAD or Civil 3D

preferred. Interest in both

modeling and design

(not just analysis). Academic or internship background in

hydrology, hydraulics, or general civil engineering

a plus (technical training provided). Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Compensation & Benefits Salary:

$75,000$85,000, commensurate with experience. Bonuses:

Profit-sharing (annual) + performance-based incentives. Health Insurance:

80% employer-paid for employees, 50% for dependents. Paid Time Off:

PE exam support, raise and bonus upon licensure. Work Schedule:

In-office only; flexible hours available (e.g., 96 instead of 85).
