Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot automated machinery and computer-controlled systems, with a focus on maintaining downstream packaging equipment for optimal performance. Lead process improvement initiatives Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and controls issues Use PLCs for ladder logic and basic programming Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints Analyze test data and perform root cause analysis utilizing 5-Y's/problem solving, and developing training events, SOP's, and best practices Update and maintain mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical schematics What You'll Need:
Education & Experience : Associate’s degree in automation or related field + 3 years of experience OR High school diploma + 5 years of experience in automated manufacturing Technical Skills : Proficiency in reading and drawing mechanical/electrical diagrams Strong understanding of NFPA 70 Electrical Code Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic systems, and industrial controls PLC troubleshooting and ladder logic modification skills Bonus Skills : Familiarity with SPC, SQC, 5S, 8D, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, Gage R&R, DOE Dart Container is an equal opportunity employer and will consider all candidates for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
