Overview

The Mental Health Association of Monmouth County is seeking a passionate and qualified Intensive In-Community (IIC) Mental Health Therapist to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Counseling Services, this in-home/community-based role plays a key part in delivering high-quality psychotherapeutic interventions to children and adolescents. Responsibilities

Provide in-home/community counseling (IIC) to children and adolescents with emotional and/or behavioral needs Conduct clinical assessments and psychosocial histories to determine individual and family needs Collaborate with clients and families to develop attainable goals and treatment plans Develop crisis safety plans with clients and families to support their well-being Maintain accurate progress notes and complete all required documentation in a timely manner Assist clients in accessing community resources and support systems Collaborate and consult with other providers to ensure holistic, coordinated care Participate in community outreach activities within Monmouth County to raise awareness of the outpatient program Complete required trainings to maintain compliance with agency and state regulations Qualifications

Master’s degree in a recognized mental health discipline Current licensure or certification (LCSW, LPC, LSW, or LAC) Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Willingness to travel as needed Additional Details

Free clinical supervision toward licensure is available for staff carrying a caseload of four or more clients Flexible scheduling to meet family needs This position focuses on serving youth About the Mental Health Association of Monmouth County
