Position: RN, REI Clinic; Organization: BC INNOVATION FERTILITY (600) (INNOVATIVE FERTILITY JOINT VENTURE); Status: Per Diem; Hours: Day, Weekends; Starting Wage DOE: $30.53 - $38.16 Responsibilities
Provides nursing assessment and initiates nursing care to all patients; works collaboratively within the department; provides timely, professional reproductive endocrinology nursing services. Applies evidence-based nursing practice to the care of women over the course of their lifespan; integrates education and research into practice; uses standards and guidelines for planning and priorities. Plans, organizes, implements, evaluates and documents family-centered care by promoting a safe and therapeutic environment for women, newborns, family, and care providers. Maintains clinical skills with department-specific equipment, pharmacology, laboratory values, and radiologic findings. Uses performance improvement principles to assess and improve the quality of patient care and to identify opportunities for modification that balance patient care and fiscal soundness. Clinical/Technical and Patient Interaction responsibilities include routine assessments, patient education, coordination of in-office and out-of-office procedures, charting, infection control, and communication with patients and team members. Assists with IVF start dates, scheduling, and coordination of cycles as appropriate; supports and follows physician practice and nursing division philosophies and applicable regulatory standards; participates in quality control and compliance efforts. Implement treatment plan; order medications; administer injections; obtain informed consents; provide injection and treatment-cycle education and explanations to patients; communicate treatment progress by phone when appropriate. Provide anticipatory guidance and emotional support during treatment cycles. Manage resources and information for patients; act as liaison between patients and healthcare providers; support scheduling and administrative workflows. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and maintain patient charting and documentation. Maintain alignment with Billings Clinic mission, values, and code of conduct; meet mandatory organizational requirements. Adhere to professional nursing standards in the care of women and newborns as applicable to the role. Minimum Qualifications
Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited school of nursing. BSN required for candidates with fewer than 5 years of RN experience. Experience: 2 years of established clinical nursing experience. Women’s health and REI/IVF experience preferred. Licenses/Certifications: Current Montana state license as a Registered Nurse.
