Overview

Maintenance Engineer position with an advisory leadership role. Focus on auditing and standardizing maintenance and facilities organizations across manufacturing sites. Requires general knowledge of facilities and maintenance equipment; no need to be a SME on any single area. Responsibilities

Ensure manufacturing and facility assets operate efficiently by performing installations, scheduled maintenance, emergency repairs, while also managing projects, inspecting systems, and troubleshooting complex problems using diagnostic tools and technical knowledge. Develop and maintain corporate maintenance standards; accurately audit existing manufacturing plants to evaluate and implement standards; assist in building maintenance organizations at new plants; support Maximo administrators across the industry to standardize operations. Set up Condition Based Maintenance (CbM) programs and assist plants in converting from calendar-based maintenance to fully automated CbM. Engage with customers to translate business requirements into scope, budget, schedule, and delivery of corporate standards to meet customer needs. Requirements

Experience working in a Maintenance/Facilities department within an actual manufacturing plant Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System Maintaining Preventative Maintenance Schedules Troubleshooting manufacturing equipment Planning work/activities Supervising trades Running installation projects (budgets, safety, schedule) Proficient in operating Maximo Experience with smart sensors and evaluating their uses Strong leadership and teamwork skills Desire awareness of industrial automation, such as PLC, OPC, SCADA, Historian, CMMS Strong understanding of maintenance measures and metrics Travel Requirements

Travel could be up to 50% depending on the project Position will be based in *** , NY Travel to a site will be required for evaluations, audits and implementing solutions/improvements Work Schedule

Typical 40 hours per week. May require working weekends/holidays or longer days to support travel schedule. Benefits
