A leading designer and manufacturer of

consumer electrical and electronic products

is seeking a

Manager, Electrical Engineering

to lead a talented group of engineers in the design and development of innovative, high-performance solutions. This individual will provide both

strategic leadership and technical contribution , ensuring product designs meet cost, performance, and schedule objectives. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader with a background in

circuit design, electronic systems integration, and cross-functional product development . Key Responsibilities

Lead a team of electrical and electronics engineers in designing, developing, and validating next-generation consumer products.

Provide daily technical oversight, coaching, and performance direction for engineering staff.

Manage multiple projects from concept through launch, ensuring adherence to quality, budget, and schedule objectives.

Drive innovation through the integration of emerging technologies and continuous improvement in design practices.

Review, evaluate, and approve designs for compliance with technical and safety standards.

Partner cross-functionally with mechanical engineering, manufacturing, and product management to ensure manufacturability and cohesive design execution.

Allocate resources, set priorities, and develop departmental budgets aligned with organizational objectives.

Serve as a subject matter expert in electrical design, testing, and validation processes.

Research and evaluate vendors, contractors, and technologies to support ongoing product development initiatives.

Promote best practices in engineering documentation, design review, and reliability testing.

Education & Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree

in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (Master’s preferred).

7–15 years

of progressive experience in electrical/electronic design and development, including at least

5 years in a technical leadership or management role.

Proven success leading teams in the design of

complex, innovative electronic products

from concept through production.

Strong understanding of

electrical and electronic circuit design, testing, and validation.

Familiarity with

plastic injection molded part design, die casting, metal stamping, and mechanical integration.

Proficiency in

Microsoft Office Suite

and modern

CAD/simulation tools

(e.g., Altium, PSpice, MATLAB, etc.).

Demonstrated business acumen with experience balancing cost, schedule, and performance targets.

Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Advanced technical knowledge in

electrical/electronic circuit design, simulation, and testing.

Effective at leading, developing, and motivating technical teams to achieve project goals.

Capable of integrating cross-disciplinary inputs (mechanical, manufacturing, quality) into cohesive product designs.

Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.

High integrity, professionalism, and ability to represent engineering within a cross-functional leadership team.
