We don’t believe in the ‘one size fits all’ approach and instead we will equip you with the tools you need to shape your own future.**JOB PURPOSE**The First Line Manager (FLM) is responsible for delivering the production plan and ensuring optimal line performance in areas such as Safety, Quality, OLE, Autonomous Maintenance standards, and Productivity. This role provides governance and leadership to semi-autonomous teams, supporting performance monitoring, resource allocation, and continuous improvement initiatives. The FLM leads operational improvement projects, applies technical and financial knowledge to reduce losses and waste, and drives factory initiatives through problem-solving, coaching, and innovation.**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES*** Ensure execution of the production plan and monitor line performance in Safety, Quality, OLE, Autonomous Maintenance (AM), and Productivity.* Lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes, applying UMS methodologies.* Maintain responsibility for Technical, Machine, and Basic Operators. Interpret diagnostics, identify risks, and support technical troubleshooting.* Apply quality management principles to sustain and improve factory standards, including measurement, assessment, and certification.* Make governance decisions for teams, set AM strategies based on loss trends, and align with manufacturing leadership.* Manage team-related administration such as rosters, payroll, training records, and performance documentation.* Understand factory financials and business needs to drive innovation and reduce waste.**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS*** Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, or related field.* Familiarity with Autonomous Maintenance (AM), Lean Manufacturing, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.* Strong leadership and team governance capabilities.* Intermediate–advanced level of English* Availability to rotate across three shiftsEn tant qu'employeur responsable et inclusif, Unilever est attentif à la diversité et à la mixité de ses équipes.
