Responsibilities Ensure compliance with Lockout / Tag out requirements and all applicable safety requirements including NEC and OSHA. Analyzing potential failures and implementing strategies to mitigate them, focusing on both physical assets and processes. Implement/improve maintenance schedules to extend the lifespan and improve the reliability of equipment. To include CMMS functions, preventative and predictive maintenance. Contribute/oversee the design of new systems and products to ensure reliability and maintainability are factored in from the start. Thorough working knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment knowledge of PLC controls, motor drives Understanding of vibration analysis and related root cause investigation techniques. Works closely with Production, Process and Maintenance personnel to identify and resolve ongoing issues. Ensure all employees are trained as needed. Maintains department payrolls and timekeeping system and ensure “pay for skills” program up to date. Communicates effectively with all levels within the facility. Work with supply room/vendors/OEM’s on spare and discontinued parts issues. Must have the ability to perform job requirements using equipment including but not limited to: Stairs, ladders, various types of lifts, electrical testing equipment, mechanical repair equipment, and other types of tools. Other duties as assigned Qualifications BS degree or equivalent work and/or military experience desired. Two (2) years or more of related experience and/or technical, mechanical, or electrical training. Preferred 4+ years maintenance in a production environment. Read and interpret technical documentation. Use mathematic skills to perform simple calculations in a work environment. analyze a variety of systemic problems and based on the analysis, recommend and take proper course of action. Ability to work heights of 40 ft or more. Physical requirements include lifting up to 75 lbs., bending, stooping, climbing, kneeling, reaching and some repetitive work. Also, must be able to stand for long periods of time. Work area is a manufacturing environment which is
