Parts Dealership Account Manager
to manage and grow relationships with Second-Level Dealers (SLDs). These are partner companies—such as on-highway truck distributors, industrial providers, and marine service dealers—that Mustang Cat authorizes to provide
Caterpillar parts and services
across the Houston region. This role is critical to maintaining Caterpillar excellence programs, supporting dealership partners, and driving customer satisfaction while ensuring accountability and growth across all assigned accounts.

and play a key role in driving Caterpillar’s brand excellence, growing our dealership partner network, and supporting the equipment that powers Texas.
Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of
Second-Level Dealer (SLD) accounts , including relationships, orders, contracts, training, and returns
Act as the primary liaison with Caterpillar representatives and ensure alignment with excellence programs
Provide training and operational support to dealership partners to enhance customer service and performance
Ensure timely responses to customer requests within 24 hours
Oversee financial performance by monitoring sales, ROI projections, Redistribution Discount (RDD) standings, and Reman engine sales
Identify and onboard new SLD candidates, including Independent Service Dealers and targeted accounts
Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports, including customer visits, opportunities, and Caterpillar merchandising updates
Attend customer-facing events as required to strengthen relationships and drive growth
Uphold Mustang Cat’s high service standards while promoting innovation and continuous improvement
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or related field (experience considered in lieu of education)
2–5 years of experience in
parts, sales, or operations
Proven leadership ability to motivate, support, and hold teams accountable
Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
Professional communication skills: written, verbal, presentations, and reporting
Proficiency in
Microsoft Office
and business systems
Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and recommend solutions
Customer-focused mindset with a proven ability to build lasting relationships
Preferred Experience
Knowledge of Caterpillar (CAT) systems, parts, or dealership operations
